Search, Frontend Layout & Display Options
This guide explains how to customize the visual layout and display settings for your book pages on the frontend. This includes how books appear in categories/archives, how the individual book detail page looks, and how the search form functions.
To access these settings, navigate to: Dashboard > RS WP Book Showcase > Settings.

Field Visibility
You can simplify the search form by hiding unnecessary fields. Uncheck any box to hide that field from the frontend search bar:
- Name, Category, Author
- Formats, Years, Series
- Publishers, Language, ISBN (10/13).
Note: In the Free version, all fields are visible by default. Upgrading to Pro allows you to hide specific fields.
Field Sorting (Pro Feature)
- Drag & Drop Order: In the Pro version, you can drag and drop the search fields to rearrange their order in the search bar. This helps you prioritize the most important filters for your users.
